PROJECT BRIEF: We were asked by the University of South Wales to film their May Ball at the old Caerleon campus. As this was to be the last ever student event, with past students returning to say goodbye, we knew we needed to really show the atmosphere of the night.

This was a two-camera shoot with stabilisers and we used filming techniques, such as crash zooms, to create an energetic feel to the video. Throughout the evening we interviewed current students, past students and staff to convey their thoughts and feelings about their time spent at Caerleon.
Editing played an important part in recreating the feeling of fun at the ball. Quick cuts and upbeat music keep it moving at swift pace and the colour grading really helps to make the colour pop.
